This episode explores the ROM’s display of the travelling exhibit Winnie-the-Pooh Exploring a Classic in regards to its connection with Canadian heritage. It was our pleasure to speak with Justin Jennings, one of the curators at the ROM who were responsible for the maintenance of the exhibit. Justin with his thoughtful words was able to elaborate on the story of Winnie-the-Pooh, its deep connection with Canadian heritage and a few more interesting points that can relate to today’s society. Our podcast was made to connect and inform our listeners through the story of Winnie-the-Pooh with a sense of belonging in a Canadian perspective. The ROM does an amazing job with this exhibit and its display to the public through interconnections, an important piece of Canadian history and bringing out the child at heart in all of us.
