    Actor and Costume Designer Maree Starling joined us on the "Behind the Curtains" podcast produced by the Asheville Theater Alliance for a wide-ranging interview. We talked about their early introduction into the theater world and some of their "dream" roles. We delved into how they coped with the COVID shutdown and what new skill they learned that turned into a business. We then transitioned into their role as Nick Bottom in "Something Rotten" being presented by the Hendersonville Theatre, the character's rivalry with Shakespeare, and something very unique and fun about the show (especially for theater "geeks"). We also received some insight about costume design, as well as a sneak peek into their next show - "Clue" - at the Hendersonville Theatre and how the director has decided to shake it up to be different each night.
