  • Episode 3 - From Teacher to UGC Creator: Anna's Story
    2025/02/14

In this episode, I chatted with Anna about her journey into the world of UGC. It was really interesting to hear how she went from teaching to becoming a successful UGC creator. She talked about the hurdles she faced early on and how important it was to build a strong portfolio. We also discussed how valuable good client relationships are in this business.

Anna really emphasized the importance of investing in your education when you're getting into UGC. She thinks it's key to learning the ropes quickly and avoiding some common mistakes. She also pointed out how having unique skills, like speaking multiple languages or even your age, can really help you stand out.

We talked about how brands are increasingly looking for older creators in the UGC space. Anna and I both agree that age shouldn't hold anyone back. Brands want authentic voices from all walks of life, and there are definitely opportunities out there. Anna even mentioned her course, "2 Hour Creator," (linked below) which is designed for busy people who want to learn UGC without having to dedicate all their time to it. It's all about learning in manageable chunks.

We also shared some stories about tricky client collaborations, which I think every creator can relate to. It really drives home how important it is to set clear boundaries and really understand your contracts. It was a really insightful conversation, and I learned a lot from Anna's experiences.
