Splits: results from a trauma that leads to a sense that part of me is missing and/or a sense of internal fragmentation.
Neglect: when a person perceived they needed someone for their actual survival (emotionally or physically) and that person was not there for them.
Grudges: when someone violates the client’s values, and the client then acts in a way that guarantees that their values will continue to be violated.
