Today I speak to Trish Davison. Trish and her husband Steve recently packed up everything to move from the Sunshine Coast to Tasmania to open Hamlet Downs Country Accom, at 50 Gully Road, Fentonbury.
Trish has ten years in the food industry, and can boast four successful brands:
Burma In Ya Belly,
The Bear and the Ladle,
Hamlet Downs Country Smallgoods
and Hamlet Downs Country Accom.
She is also the proud recipient of two 'Snails of Approval' from the International Slow Food Convivium. She is a multi award winner in Sydney Royal Fine Food and also the Royal Tasmanian Fine Food.
Trish and Steve are loving the seachange and are now playing 'hostlife' growing thier own produce, raising organic pigs and making smallgoods and charcuterie and finally realising the dream of hosting gourmet Long Table Lunch Burmese French Fusion.
