So grab a fork, a knife, and a medieval-sized drumstick, and see whether you think your taste buds might be up for the challenge.

Uncle Joe's Tomato Sauce
2 Cans Plum Tomatoes
- Italian n juice
- (You can also use 3 cans tomato sauce + 1 can tomato paste or diced tomatoes)
1/2 can tomato paste
1 Onion (medium) Chopped/diced
4-5 cloves garlic
- Mashed in a garlic masher
- Or crushed with teaspoon and chopped
Hot pepper flakes
- Crushed red pepper
Olive oil in sauce pan
- Saute garlic/onion
- Season with pepper
- (Potentially add 1 tsp salt for flavor)
- (Can also add meat or sausage etc at this time)
Add 1/2 can tomato paste + 2 cans tomatoes
- Crush tomatoes before putting in
- Add a little red wine
- (Same amount of wine as tomato paste)
- (or water/sugar to balance out hot pepper)
Oregano - sprinkle on top
Fresh basil
Grated Parmesan cheese
- (A little handful)
Let it “boil”
- Add a pinch of baking soda
- Then low and simmer for 4-5 hours
- Stir frequently
