We who have received Jesus have been adopted into God's family. We are sons, daughters and heirs of the Most High God. God has given us a spiritual inheritance and He wants us to walk in it. Jesus told us in John 10:10, "It is the thief who comes to steal, kill and destroy, but I have come to give you life, and life more abundantly."

"Becasue you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba, Father." So you are no longer a slave, but God's child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir," Galatians 4:-6-7.

God cannot lie. The Bible tells us He is not a man that He should lie nor a son of man that He should change His mind. All of us have lied but God has never lied. In writing to the Romans, the apostle Paul explains to both the Jews and Gentile Christians in Rome, that just because many of the Jews failed to obey God's Word, it does not nullify God's faithfulness and the truth of His Word.

"What if some were unfaithful? Will their unfaithfulness nullify God’s faithfulness? Not at all! Let God be true, and every human being a liar. As it is written: “So that you may be proved right when you speak and prevail when you judge.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭3‬:‭3‬-‭4‬ ‭NIV‬‬"

The word "save" in the Greek is "sozo". Sozo means not only to be healed spiritualy, but emotionall and physically as well. It means to be provided for, to be protected and delivered from all harm and evil. "Believe in the Lord Jesus and you shall be saved; you and your household," Acts 16:31

In Daniel 2, God begins to reveal the sequence of events that would take place in the end times. God gave King Nebuchadnezzar a dream which perplexed him. He asked his wise men not only to interpret the dream, but to tell him the dream which he had. Of course, the wise men could not tell him the dream, so he issued a decree to have all of them killed. When Daniel heard about the decree, he went quickly to the king to ask for time for him and his friends to seek God's face. God is faithful to His Word. In Genesis 6, God told Noah that He would destroy the earth by flood. There was great violence in the earth, so much so that He regretted that He created humankind. Genesis 6:5-8. God provided a way for escape for Noah and his family and for anyone who chose to believe His coming judgment. Sad to say, only Noah, his wife, his three sons and their wives were saved. After the flood, God made a covenant with mankind never to destroy the earth by again. The first act of violence was committed by Cain. Cain killed his brother, Abel, because he refused to submit to God's authority. Cain allowed the power of sin to rule over him. Both Cain and Abel offered sacrifices to God. However, God was not pleased with Cain's sacrifice. Instead of Cain humbling himself and obeying God, he killed his brother Abel in a fit of envy and rage. The first act of violence was due to man refusing to submit to God's authority and to worship Him in the way that He requires. There has been much violence since Cain murdered his brother thousands of years ago. Can a man bring lasting peace to the earth? Only Jesus, the Prince of Peace has the power to bring lasting peace today. Isaiah 9:6 says, "....And he will be called...Prince of Peace."

In 2 Chronicles 14, King Asa won a great victory over Zerah the Cushite and his army. God sent a prophet to tell him, "The LORD is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you . But if you forsake Him, He will forsake you." However, after he was warned King Asa forsook God in the latter part of his life. So, God forsook Him. God sent Hanani, the prophet to chastise him. Hanani prophesied, "For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him. You have done foolishly in this, for from now on you will have wars," (ESV). Every nation and everyone of us should pay heed to these consequential words today.
