    The suburbs will see a frost advisory Monday night and then throughout the week. A trio of days will feel like November with the coldest will be Wednesday night. A brisk wind will stick around on Tuesday. We’ll be in the low 40s on Wednesday morning and the breeze will continue.   • Milton eyes Florida with dangerous storm surge
    2024/10/08
    In this edition of Weather or Not, Lee Goldberg tracks Hurricane Milton which rapidly intensified from a Category 1 storm to a Category 5 in less than 12 hours on Monday. The powerful storm, which churned with 180 mph winds at one point, could bring dangerous storm surge to parts of Florida, especially central and northern parts. Storm surge could reach as high as 10-15 feet in some areas, and a tornado threat can't be ruled out. Lee says landfall is expected sometime Wednesday night or Thursday morning.
