Sex is an integral part of the human experience. And for far too long, the topic has been clouded in stigma, shame, and judgment.

A good working definition of ‘sex positivity’ is operating around the topics of human sexuality, health, and pleasure with respect and without shame or stigma. This includes gender identity, orientation, sex education, nudity, relationship styles, body positivity, safer sex, reproductive equity, and much more,” says Goody Howard, a resident sex educator for sexual hygiene and body care company Royal.

The “Kama Sutra” is an ancient Sanskrit text popularly known as a book on eroticism. It is actually much more than that. Scholars see the “Kama Sutra” as a guide on the art of living, from finding a partner to personal grooming and etiquette in both marriage and worldly affairs.

Written in the 3rd century by Vatsyayana Mallanaga, the title of this text is derived from the Sanskrit, kama, which denotes longing and desire, often with a sexual connotation (and referring to the Hindu god of love, Kamadeva); and sutra, which refers to a concise verse or scripture. The title may also be translated as “A Treatise on Pleasure.”

According to Hindu scriptures, kama (pleasure) is one of the four goals of life. The other three are dharma (duty or morality), artha(prosperity, wealth and power) and moksha(freedom from cyclical rebirth). The “Kama Sutra” was written as a guide to achieving kama, in particular, physical pleasure. The best-known English translation was published by Sir Richard Burton in the 19thcentury; however, that translation is strongly biased by Victorian modesty and downplaying the role of women.

Several scenarios can impair your sexual self-esteem, including past negative sexual experiences, cancer and subsequent treatment, and physical disability. If you are struggling with sexual self-esteem, you may recognize a thought process or behavior known as “spectatoring.” Spectatoring is a frequent thinking pattern among women who struggle with sexual self-esteem. It refers to the tendency of women with negative views of their sexual bodies to fixate on negative aspects of their body during sexual experiences.

The Hebrew word for adornment is hadharah, it is the root of hadar meaning “honor.” Amazingly, the scriptures do not condemn physical adornment when it is done properly the Bible actually recommends spiritual adornment which is of greater importance.Henotheism is the worship of a single, supreme god that does not deny the existence or possible existence of other deities that may also be worshipped. Friedrich Schelling coined the word, and Friedrich Welcker used it to depict primitive monotheism among ancient Greeks.As a metaphysical minister, I consider myself to be an eclectic Christian. Eclectic means to derive ideas, style, or taste from a broad and diverse range of sources. Eclecticism is a conceptual approach that does not hold rigidly to a single paradigm or set of assumptions, but instead draws upon multiple theories, styles, or ideas to gain complementary insights into a subject, or applies different theories in particular cases. These uncanny elements for me, within religious ritual, provide an illustration of how religious experiences can help believers to feel ‘at home in the uncanny’. There are several types of Insomnia

1. ​Acute Insomnia: Short-term insomnia lasting less than three months, often triggered by stress
2. ​Chronic Insomnia: Persistent sleep difficulties occurring at least three times a week for three months or longer.
3. ​Onset Insomnia: Difficulty falling asleep, often associated with stress, anxiety, or depression.
4. ​Maintenance Insomnia: Trouble staying asleep or waking up too early.
5. ​Behavioral Insomnia of Childhood: Sleep disruptions in children due to behavioral patterns.

Trouble sleeping can come from unfamiliar patterns or experiences in our lives. For example, when I attended church service, I expected to hear the choir and a sermon but instead I was “deprogrammed” as an ED at Bethany Baptist Church Lindenwold, NJ SINCE GOD SPOKE they ONLY attempted to “deprogram” me as an ED at a church where nothing was holy, at work where it was not my job, at school where they were not my classmates or teachers, at home where these parents are NOT my parents and sisters are not my sisters, and at the police station where these are not officers. The Shadow Archetype came into existence when Jung theorised that all individuals have a light side and a dark side. As you may guess, the dark side (the shadow) is what we choose to repress – whether that consists of weaknesses, hidden desires, or instincts. Jungian archetypes and archetypal figures are the user interface of human consciousness, because their images and motifs form patterns within one’s personality hidden within their unconscious found everywhere around us, such as the ancient myths and folklores in classical books.

Yet, Traumatic memories can be stored in the brain in a way that can become counterproductive, can trigger us, interrupt our daily lives, and can prevent natural healing in the long term. EMDR therapy’s structured approach allows for the reprocessing of trauma so by undergoing EMDR, the brain “revisits” the trauma but within a controlled, safe environment where emotional intensity can be managed.

The hours between dusk and dawn, intended for rest and renewal, can be daunting for folks with insomnia. The struggle to embrace sleep can wear you down, leaving you feeling lost in the night. A biblical approach to conquering insomnia can help. There are plenty of verses about insomnia and the night time in the Bible:

John 11:9-10 says, “Jesus answered, “Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world. But if anyone walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him.”

The Wizard of Oz is a great example of Four Survival Archetypes. The archetypes, the Child, the Prostitute, the Saboteur, and the Victim, are all involved in and symbolize our significant life challenges related to survival. The Child, the Saboteur, the Victim, and the Prostitute are the intimate companions of your intuition. They make you conscious of your vulnerabilities, your fear of being victimized and allow you to see how you sabotage your dreams. These four archetypes will become your guardians, preserving your integrity and refusing to allow you to negotiate it away under any circumstances.

Background on 1 Corinthians 15 is that the word gospel means “good news.” As the word was used in ancient times, it didn’t have to describe the message of salvation in Jesus Christ; it could describe any good news. But the best news ever is that we can be saved from the punishment we deserve from God because of what Jesus did for us.
