Start by looking at the Shark goalie roster and why adding an AHL goalie who can play NHL games in a pinch is worth it. Start with Ivan Prosvetov, who split time between the Colorado Avalanche and Colorado Eagles and still might have some development left. Then Magnus Hellberg would fit the Aaron Dell veteran mold for an AHL goalie who can play the occasional NHL game. Also, look at Adam Scheel, who played for the Chicago Wolves but has not cracked the NHL yet. Finally, go through the other goalies who played NHL games last year and are still available to be signed.
