An interplanetary expedition from earth finds an exact duplicate of their ship and themselves crashed on the planet they were surveying. Should they stay or risk taking off and crashing?

This is a dynamic, modern dramatisation of a classic book by John Wyndham. Bill Nighy ( Love Actually and many other films) and Sarah Parish ( Cutting It) play Richard and Janet, a couple caught up in the goings-on of a sleepy English village in which all the children have golden eyes, blond hair, and a sinister talent for telepathy and telekinesis. (Wyndham's novel was filmed as Village of the Damned in 1960 and 1995.)

In their quest to gain control of the Solar System, the Daleks have taken posession of the Time Destructor, a weapon which threatens the safety of all who stand in their way. As they head up an alliance of alien races bent on destroying the human race, in their midst is none other than the treacherous Guardian of the Solar System, Mavic Chen.

The Doctor has adopted many guises in his time, but to be hailed as the great god Zeus is a bit of a shock. Yet this is exactly what happens when the TARDIS lands on the plains of Asia Minor, not far from the city of Troy. Taken to the Greek camp by Achilles, the Doctor is introduced to Agamemnon and Odysseus and forced to admit his less¿than¿godlike status. He is then given just two days to come up with a strategy for defeating the Trojans.

The Doctor and Antimony arrive on the planet Santiny, just as it comes under attack by General Tannis and his Canisian battle fleet. Meanwhile, his other companion, Ace, finds herself under the guidance of the mysterious Casmus, who seems to foresee an important and unusual role in store for her. As the adventure lurches from Santiny to contemporary London and on to Gallifrey, it becomes clear that the Canisians' next target is to be Earth.

This great collection contains the soundtracks of three television adventures in which the Doctor and friends travel back in Time and get caught up in events in history.

The year is 2070, and Earth's weather is controlled by a device called the Gravitron, based on the Moon and manned by an international team of experts. The TARDIS arrives to find the base in the grip of a plague epidemic which is drastically reducing the personnel. Before long an even greater menace is proved to be responsible: an invasion force from the planet Mondas, home of the Cybermen.

The TARDIS lands in Paris in 1572 at the time of the massacre of the French Protestants at the hands of the Catholic Queen Mother, Catherine de Medici. Worryingly for the TARDIS crew, it appears that the hated Catholic dignitary the Abbot of Amboise is a dead ringer for the Doctor himself.

Following a spot of uncharacteristic intoxication, the Doctor wakes to discover that the TARDIS has materialised in the service ducting of the Vipod Mor, a huge craft which is itself floating in deep space. Furthermore, the console has detected Time spillage: someone or something is tampering with Time! Such experimentation could not only damage the Space/Time continuum but destroy the past and future history of the Universe. The Doctor and Peri board the craft to investigate.

English explorer Travers is determined to track down the mythical Abominable Snowmen which are said to roam the Himalayas. When the Doctor and his companions visit the nearby Detsen monastery they discover that the Yeti are all-too prominent. In fact, they are out to kill anyone who comes near. With Travers' help the travellers discover that the monastery is in the grip of the evil Great Intelligence, a disembodied force which has taken control of the High Lama....

While frequent flyer Arthur Dent searches the universe for his lost love, Ford Prefect discovers a disturbing blast from the past at The Hitchhiker’s Guide HQ. Meanwhile, on one of many versions of Earth, a blonder, more American Trillian gets tangled up with a party of lost aliens having an identity crisis. And just when Arthur thinks he has found his true vocation on the backwater planet of Lamuella, the original Trillian turns up with more than a little spanner in the works. A stolen ship, a dramatic stampede and a new and sinister Guide lead to a race to save the Earth...again. But this time, will they succeed?

In it the time travellers arrive in Scotland in the aftermath of the battle of Culloden, meeting up with a band of fleeing Highlanders. Polly and the daughter of the group's Laird, whose battle injuries are being treated by the Doctor, go off to fetch water and return to find that the others have been captured by Redcoat troops.
