Some Statistics including those by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) state that up to 25-million Americans suffer from asthma. That's approximately 1 in every 12 people or about 8.2 percent of the U.S. population. Asthma is more common in women than in men and is also more common among African Americans and Hispanics than in Caucasians.

Did you know that there are common thyroid disorders, a heart murmur, adrenal hormone imbalances and blood sugar (glucose) problems that can all potentially cause or contribute to anxiety and/or depression symptoms? It is important that patients seeing their doctors for emotional symptoms be tested for possible medical conditions that might be a causative or contributing factor, especially if physical symptoms in addition to emotional ones are being experienced.

While it might seem unusual to see a book title on the subject of offering Christian encouragement to thyroid patients, it really shouldn't be considered unusual at all. There has also arisen an unmistakable doctor-shortage in many areas of America. This has increased the workload of medical staff and professionals and some of them are experiencing a condition referred to by medical research groups, as "burn out".

I discovered through my own experience that thyroid disorders, especially hypothyroidism can include many complications. This inspired me to learn more about my disease and about thyroid diseases in general and about the conditions that are co-morbid to them. In this audiobook, I address the key subjects involving hypothyroidism including symptoms, causes, diagnosis and treatments. I also discuss the causes and types of hypothyroidism, affecting millions of people in the U.S. and worldwide.

Many asthma patients (for which I am one), experience ongoing struggles, with frequent changes in their lung function. In addition to dealing with ongoing symptoms of breathing distress and worsening attacks of symptoms that can be severe or even life-threatening, we also have the added fear of not knowing where our asthmatic conditions will take us in the future, as we grow older. For listeners who are not asthma patients, I hope to convey to them an understanding of how our respiratory disorders can cause us genuine concerns and place a degree of limitations on our lives.

This audiobook is my personal tribute to the Beatles - Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison. The content of this book is the story about a personal struggle experienced by a man who has for obvious reasons requested to remain anonymous, but who suffered a very serious obsessive compulsive disorder for many years of his life, involving the area of sexual exhibitionism and addiction to pornography. I highly commend this man of Christian faith, for allowing others to understand and to learn from his experience, in spite of the anguish and guilt it caused him for many years of his life.

I have reviewed lots of books that are trashy with their grammar and their punctuating and with their spelling. These do not get past me without a bash review being placed on them. I simply won't let them pass through my screening gates because they don't deserve to be recognized as books worthy of being read. I'm not some bitter guy, I just don't like seeing all of these so called "authors" out there publishing their trashy little books.

Within the chapters of this book, I wish to point out some of the central beliefs and historical characteristics of both the Catholic and Evangelical Christian churches. I will keep my discussion centered on major doctrines of each, due to the fact that both churches have a number of variations within their denominations and it would take literally volumes to go through each of these.
