Lazy Scales

Lewis was always the lazy kid in school.After a harrowing hospital visit, he wakes up as a dragon. It's awesome, but he doesn't know the first thing about using his new body! Why is everything so fragile? And since when have people been so tasty? When he reveals himself to his friends, they don't know what to think. He's still Lewis, but he's also something a lot more dangerous. When he eats something he shouldn't have, the wrong people find out. Now, it's up to his friends to keep him out of trouble or risk losing him in the process.

Lewis used to think school was hard. He’s only been a dragon for a week, but he's already nostalgic for boring human classes. Instead of math and science, he’s learning how to fly and hunt! It would be fun if he wasn’t so bad at it! Meanwhile, Becca and Jeremy are still coming to terms with his change. Becca thinks they need to stand by him. Jeremy has other designs.  

Life as a dragon was never supposed to be easy. With the town taking care of all his basic needs, Lewis’ life has gotten boring. All he does is eat, sleep, and ignore his mentor. After Lewis is finally presumed dead by authorities, his friend Becca suggests that he tell his parents who he really is. He thinks it’s a bad idea. How will they react upon learning that their son turned into a dragon? He can't deny that they deserve to know the truth, but there's just one problem: The city is watching his every move. If they find out he used to be human, it could mean a world of trouble!
