𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗙𝗔𝗥𝗘 (𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘯 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘸?) (Ephesians 6:12): “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” (2Cor. 10:3-6): “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.” “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,” “casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,” “and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.” 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗜𝗦 𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗙𝗔𝗥𝗘? This is battle. It means to wage war or armed conflict against an enemy. But here in this context, it is not a physical operation. So we are dealing with a spiritual reality, comparing spiritual with spiritual. Apostle Paul in Ephesians 6:12 mentioned the strongholds that are against believers as being principalities, that's, the governments of supramundane beings, negative powers, rulers of evils or darkness of this world and every spiritual host of wickedness in the heavenly. Where do these things mentioned above occur? Physically or spiritually? Spiritually right? Good. What is their channel of operations? The Human mind right? Good. How do they achieve that? Through their projection of negativities into the human mind right? Good. So now, just as apostle Paul would say in: (Romans 6:16): “Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one's slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?” This submission is not a physical activity. It is not like going to meet with a native doctor to sign an agreement form for an apprenticeship program in his shrine of which afterwards you will become like him, a native doctor. No, this is a mental activity. It is something that transpires right on the inside of the heart of man in the form of thoughts. Now, it is good I point out something very clearly here. There's a difference between... 𝗘𝗩𝗜𝗟 𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦 𝘈𝘕𝘋 𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗘𝗩𝗜𝗟. Evil thoughts are negative imaginations projected into one's mind by experiences, spiritual entities and one's surrounding environment. The incoming of these thoughts does not account that the one into whom they are is an evil person or is possessed, NO. Of course, at this point, something can happen. On the other hand, thoughts of evil speaks of a corrupt mind or a continual dwelling on an evil or a negative thought with the view of having them executed eventually. For example, you had a very good friend of yours entrusted to you some good amount of money for an important reason which you were aware of, but instead of keeping a good attitude towards that entrustment, you rather began to think about how that you will be able to have your way with the money. Now, in that act of thinking in such a way is what is called an evil thought. In other words, having or bearing or sketching out an evil plan for or against someone. So in essence, that an evil thought flew into your mind, perhaps because of some surrounding circumstances, does not imply that you are evil, NO, but that when you allowed such thought to stay and consume your whole being so that you are ready to actualize it out, it becomes a thought of evil by you which defiles your heart. Now, Satan and his agents try their possible bests and abilities to make the man in Christ act towards his own destructive end by projecting or trying to lure him into things that would warrant him the possibility to start misbehaving and perhaps eventually have himself or herself messed up. 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗜𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗜𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗦𝗜𝗡 𝗕𝗜𝗕𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗬? We can not sidetrack the account of the event that took place in the garden of Eden in Genesis 3. Let's explore: Just like when I taught on the topic: “𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗔𝗡 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗘𝗥”, I did make a reference to the state of man after his creation. So, lemme elucidate more on that now as that will enhance our understanding. (Genesis 1:31: “Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.” (Genesis 2:7): “And the LORD God formed man of thes dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.” First, in verse 31 of chapter 1 of Genesis, we see that everything God made from the first day till the sixth day was perfect. Then in verse 7 of chapter 2 of Genesis, He created the man of the dust, Adam, still perfect apparently (that is, based on the account of the preceding testimony in verse 31 of chapter 1.) So, Adam was created perfect and without sin and errors. As a matter of fact, Adam was without the knowledge of what was good and evil, because he hath not that fruit in him for God did warn him not to touch it or eat of it. But he was ruled by God in his heart (as it has been in the mind of God hence His creation of man). It was easier for satan in the incarnated subtle creature, serpent, to deceive man, because man was open minded to heed to instructions, and was in obedience. Not with a sense of hesitation, but absolute obedient. But later, following the cast down of satan in which he sought to deceive man, man discussed with him as a friendly creature thinking he was in good hands. But scarcely did man knew that Satan was behind the discussion. Man saw an ordinary serpent, a harmless and gentle creature, but never saw satan. Satan was inside the serpent talking to man but man was inside his open-mindedness towards the serpent, talking to it. Man received a suggestion from the serpent and thought of it to do, not knowing it would be ruinous. Man acted on the suggestion given by satan through the serpent and 𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗠 disobeyed the instructions of God to him. Now, the communication between man and God that was expressly done before became obstructed by that act of disobedience from man. Now question: Who made man to sin as to disobeying God? Satan right ? Good. So from whom was the introduction of sin then? Satan right? Good. And now, we know that the wages of sin is nothing but death as we see in: (Romans 6:23): “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Man died, that is, was cut off from God's life and became subject to the laws of satan and as well caused a global change on what things God has created for his comfort. For example, that same serpent through which satan had spoken to man friendly became a deadly creature to harm man, whereas, in the original, it was not so. So man became a victim of his disobedience to the instructions of God. 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘶𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘶𝘥𝘪𝘰

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗛𝗘𝗖𝗬 (𝘑𝘰𝘩𝘯 16:12-15): "I have still many things to say to you, but you are not able to bear them or to take them upon you or to grasp them now." "But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future]." "He will honor and glorify Me, because He will take of (receive, draw upon) what is Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you." "Everything that the Father has is Mine. That is what I meant when I said that He [the Spirit] will take the things that are Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you." 𝗪𝗛𝗢 𝗜𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗛𝗘𝗖𝗬? The spirit of prophecy is not another spirit. He is not a separate God the Almighty or Jesus Christ the Son, but same with Jesus Christ and God the Almighty. In other words, He is God but in another dimension of activities called 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗛𝗘𝗖𝗬!!! He is The Spirit of Truth spoken of by Jesus Christ to His disciples before His death, that should come into them. 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗜𝗦 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗛𝗘𝗖𝗬? We did do some explanations of what prophecy is all about etymologically. According to the previous explanation, prophecy is derived from two Greek words: “pro” meaning “forth” and “phemi” meaning “to speak ”. So prophecy is all about speaking forth the mind and counsel of God as in meaning propheteia in Greek. 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗜𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗 𝗢𝗙 𝗚𝗢𝗗? For example, in: “For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.” God spoke through the Prophet, Jeremiah, during the time when king Nebuchadnezzar carried the Israelites as captives to his land, Babylon, that He knows His THOUGHTS towards them, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give them a future and a hope. What could God be insinuating by that? Here is it, we all know that there's no peace or hope or future to be proud of or boast for while in captivity. A lawful prisoner (a convict) is without a hope or peace of mind, but awaits a final day of his or her extermination. So, a prisoner (a convict) is liable to die. Now, we can understand that God spoke about their salvation from such condition through the Prophet Jeremiah. This is equally a figurative communication of the state of the human race, which is naturally sinful and captive of Satan and his agents, without God's fear in them and without His knowledge too. No one obeys His voice nor cared to. However, beyond this, God still spoke of His promise for their salvation from satanic captivity through His prophets. Just the way it happened between Jeremiah and their captivity in Babylon. God made His thoughts, the content of His mind, for humanity to humanity, which is Salvation. So, the mind of God has been to save and not to kill. (2Pet.3.9): “The Lord does not delay and is not tardy or slow about what He promises, according to some people 's conception of slowness, but He is long-suffering (extraordinarily patient) toward you, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should turn to repentance.” This is the mind of God, to save. Now, 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗬 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦? They are simply the contents of the mind of God towards humanity. What contents? To bring humanity to the knowledge of Himself. To reveal the reality of His existence, character and identity to humanity. Remember, this was said to the disciples specifically and in their writings, they did do justice to that. They wrote the mind of God. 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘵'𝘥 𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘶𝘥𝘪𝘰...

(𝘓𝘶𝘬𝘦 8:4-9): "And when a great multitude had gathered, and they had come to Him from every city, He spoke by a parable:" "A sower went out to sow his seed. And as he sowed, some fell by the wayside; and it was trampled down, and the birds of the air devoured it." "Some fell on rock; and as soon as it sprang up, it withered away because it lacked moisture." "And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up with it and choked it." "But others fell on good ground, sprang up, and yielded a crop a hundredfold." When He had said these things He cried, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear!" "Then His disciples asked Him, saying, "What does this parable mean?" "And He said, "To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest it is given in parables, that "Seeing they may not see, And hearing they may not understand.' " ""Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God." "Those by the wayside are the ones who hear; then the devil comes and takes away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved." "But the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of temptation fall away." "Now the ones that fell among thorns are those who, when they have heard, go out and are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity."
