  • Ep 87: Acting vs. Authenticity with Remy Wallace
    2024/09/03
In this episode, we have the pleasure of having Remy Wallace share his thoughts on the intersection of acting and authenticity. He grew up in Philadelphia and lived in NY, Los Angeles, and now in Charlotte, NC. Early in his professional career, he chose to quit a promising corporate job in the sports industry to pursue acting and filmmaking. He credits that decision to the many miracles that have taken place since. He and his wife, Natalie, are now full-time parents, partners, and entrepreneurs with huge dreams and aspirations to live a less traditional path while making a massive global impact. Acting is about being believable You bring a part of your own self into every role How real do we get with our kids? Practicing empathy every day Knowing when you’re not being authentic in real life Emotions and releasing them appropriately Balancing micro and macro authenticity We all want to be authentic AND we’re all acting When being authentic isn’t worth it How you do things vs. what you do is important While acting on stage, there are no repercussions to letting loose Be honest and bold about who you are ------------------------- CONNECT WITH REMY WALLACE: Website: https://actingoutstudio.com/dt_team/remy-wallace/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/remy-wallace-864a0b97/ IG: https://www.instagram.com/thewallacelife/ FB: https://www.facebook.com/remy.wallace.9 ------------------------- CONNECT WITH JEFF: Website: https://jeffmillercoaching.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeffmillercoaching/ IG: @jeffmillercoaching FB: https://www.facebook.com/jeff.miller.7965 Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/jeffmillercoaching CONNECT WITH TATSU: Website: https://tatsuyafushimi.com LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/tatsuyafushimi/ IG: @tatsuyafushimi FB: https://www.facebook.com/tatsuya.fushimi.9/ Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/tatsuyafushimi

  • Ep 86: Obligations Can Be Dangerous
    2024/08/27
Our obligations in life may feel empowering or disempowering depending on how we relate to them. It is important to identify the obligations that feel misaligned. Then, either reframe the relationship to it or change the situation of the obligation entirely. Obligations are often accompanied by internal and external judgment that can fester and build resentment. In this episode, we discuss some of the nuances around obligation. Slippery slope with obligations Gratitude as a reframe Moral obligations and judgment Constantly rechoosing mindfully Should/shouldn’t context The fallacy of being obligated to follow our inner critic Ego is doing its job whether it is supportive or not of our highest potential Perpetuating obligation generationally Questioning our obligations ------------------------- CONNECT WITH JEFF: Website: https://jeffmillercoaching.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeffmillercoaching/ IG: @jeffmillercoaching FB: https://www.facebook.com/jeff.miller.7965 Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/jeffmillercoaching CONNECT WITH TATSU: Website: https://tatsuyafushimi.com LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/tatsuyafushimi/ IG: @tatsuyafushimi FB: https://www.facebook.com/tatsuya.fushimi.9/ Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/tatsuyafushimi

  • Ep 85: There’s No Aging In Wisdom
    2024/08/20
Common images and definitions of aging tend to infer decay or decline of vitality. With it comes a negative or disempowering sense. This may accurately represent change on a purely physical level, but the physical level is often overemphasized in importance. Along with aging comes something far more powerful, wisdom. Wisdom softens the harsh blow of the inevitability of physical decline. What is wisdom? How do we embody it and shift our perspective on aging? In this episode, we discuss the importance of wisdom as we age. Age gracefully or inelegantly Listening to your body Physical aging vs. growth in wisdom Using wisdom for maintenance and recovery of your body Becoming more intentional as you age Ability to apply knowledge and experiences More self-awareness and ability to let go comes with aging Shift in perspective on aging Observing and interacting with different generations for wisdom Links mentioned: ------------------------- CONNECT WITH JEFF: Website: https://jeffmillercoaching.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeffmillercoaching/ IG: @jeffmillercoaching FB: https://www.facebook.com/jeff.miller.7965 Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/jeffmillercoaching CONNECT WITH TATSU: Website: https://tatsuyafushimi.com LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/tatsuyafushimi/ IG: @tatsuyafushimi FB: https://www.facebook.com/tatsuya.fushimi.9/ Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/tatsuyafushimi

  • Ep 82: Creating Energy Abundance
    2024/07/30
Energy is abundant and unlimited. Yet, we are often reminded of the opposite. Battery life, counting calories, exhaustion, and depletion of natural resources are just a few examples. It is valuable to understand what each of us actually needs from an intuitive perspective rather than from an egoic one. Misalignment with our true values, lifestyle, relationships, career, etc. all lead to energy depletion and perpetuate energy scarcity. So, what does alignment look like? In this episode, we discuss the preservation and regeneration of energy through alignment. Scarcity mindset with energy Human Design Optimizing your energy Macro view of alignment Motivation vs. inspired action Getting clear about and honoring your well-being needs Energy is tied to our way of being Links mentioned: Human Design: https://www.jovianarchive.com/ ------------------------- CONNECT WITH JEFF: Website: https://jeffmillercoaching.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeffmillercoaching/ IG: @jeffmillercoaching FB: https://www.facebook.com/jeff.miller.7965 Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/jeffmillercoaching CONNECT WITH TATSU: Website: https://tatsuyafushimi.com LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/tatsuyafushimi/ IG: @tatsuyafushimi FB: https://www.facebook.com/tatsuya.fushimi.9/ Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/tatsuyafushimi

  • Ep 81: Surrender Is For The Weak!
    2024/07/23
The idea of surrender is often portrayed in a disempowering light. Whether it infers weakness or insufficiency, there is some form of fear that drives the disempowerment. But what if we related to surrender in an empowering way? What if surrender actually expands opportunities for deeper fulfillment, joy, peace, and love? We already know intuitively where we are forcing misalignment in our lives. Surrender is a path to alignment. Resistance to surrendering The transition from disempowering to empowering surrender The constant ebbs and flows of “success” What are we clinging to? Surrendering as an access point to possibility Control is an epidemic Are we riding the wave or swimming against the current? Taking stock of exhaustion, depletion, misalignment ------------------------- CONNECT WITH JEFF: Website: https://jeffmillercoaching.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeffmillercoaching/ IG: @jeffmillercoaching FB: https://www.facebook.com/jeff.miller.7965 Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/jeffmillercoaching CONNECT WITH TATSU: Website: https://tatsuyafushimi.com LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/tatsuyafushimi/ IG: @tatsuyafushimi FB: https://www.facebook.com/tatsuya.fushimi.9/ Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/tatsuyafushimi
