As of today, Mikko Rantanen, The Moose, is no longer a member of the Colorado Avalanche. It hurts, we know. Was it a good decision? We'll try and walk through that conversation together. The Avs got "goalied." Multiple times in fact. What does it mean to get "goalied?" It means no matter how many shots Nathan MacKinnon puts on net, how many grade-A chances Cale Makar creates, or how many snipes or back door tap in's Mikko Rantanen tries to set up, the hot hand of the opposing goalie allows none of it. Much to the dismay of the Avalanche Faithful.
