The pressure is on Tom Fitzgerald to once again make changes this offseason. The New Jersey Devils can't afford another mediocre campaign. Fitzgerald said during his exit interview that the team won't be running it back with the same unit next season. There are a few players set to become either UFAs or RFAs this offseason. Thanks to Jim Rutherford's comments, a lot of people are concerned with the Vancouver Canucks' future. There's been some speculation that their captain Quinn Hughes might be traded at some point. It's been revealed that he wants to team up with his brothers. The hosts of Locked On Canucks (Trevor Beggs and Kyle Bhawan) and I collabortaed on a crossover to discuss the matter.

My old friend, Alyson, accompanied me on today's episode. She is also the wife of New Jersey Devils forward Stefan Noesen. She talked about how they met in high school and later became married with two kids. Being married to an NHL player isn't always easy, but Alyson talked about the WAG lifestyle and many interesting stories as well. Jim Rutherford has unleashed a can worms. The Vancouver Canucks' organization is in shambles and their captain Quinn Hughes might be on the move soon. Obviously, the New Jersey Devils already have his two brothers on the team. But should the Devils pursue Quinn right now or wait until he's an unrestricted free agent? Is Jesper Bratt the best player in the NHL? Well, I wouldn't go that far, but he certainly has been one of the best players on the New Jersey Devils' roster. He broke the single-season assists record and led the team in points. Unfortunately, he recently had shoulder surgery, but I expect him to make a full recovery. He continues to add to his game.

The NHL recently revealed their finalists for the Selke Trophy. Unfortunately, New Jersey Devils captain Nico Hischier did not make the cut. A lot of people were confused and shocked by the announcement. I decided to reflect on Hischier's season and how his contributions were a big help for the Devils. His stats were certainly "Selke worthy".
