    How do you know if you're winning or losing at parenting? As a mom, you want to get it RIGHT: to know you're doing a good job, that all the hardship and self-sacrifice you're enduring is paying off. The stakes feel so high—maybe higher than any other area of your life—because this is your kids we're talking about! Getting it “wrong” can have big implications for their future life.

    In this episode, I offer my definition of what it really means to be winning at parenting, sharing three of my own recent wins and two very painful “losses” as examples.

  • The GREATEST Gift You Can Give Your Kids (It's So Not What You Think!)

    Every mom wants to give their kids the world: to spare them from hardship, set them up for success, & see them be happy. Yet that’s NOT what your kids need from you the most!

    The greatest gift a mom can give her kids isn’t stuff. It’s not even time & attention. What your kids need most is to see you take ownership of your OWN happiness! To model healthy emotional regulation & self-empowerment so they don’t fall victim to four harmful outcomes: parentification, insecure attachment, risky behavior, or the belief that happiness is out of reach for them, too.

    I underscore all the reasons why moms’ mental health & happiness are absolutely ESSENTIAL for your kids’ wellbeing, both now & in the future. I share two personal examples along with a client’s experience wrestling with unhappiness to convey the impact that your (un)happiness has on your kids & why it’s so, SO crucial you prioritize your own joy.

  • Which Phase of Personal Development Are YOU In? The 3 Stages of Self-Growth

    When you’re stressed and overwhelmed, people naturally offer well-intentioned advice but there’s one thing that inevitably just makes you feel WORSE.

    In this episode, we’re breaking down what that is, why it’s so triggering, and what a stressed out mom really needs in that moment instead.

    Whether you’re the stressed out mom in this scenario OR the one trying to offer “help”, you can’t afford to miss this deep-dive into how moms’ stress is rooted in a deep, even subconscious, belief you have to earn your self-worth and thus any insinuation you should do less just sends your body into a threat response.
