  • Scottie Scheffler Wins The Open Championship + Will The Charlotte Hornets Be Good This Season?
    2025/07/21

Reese, Pam and Alex discuss if the Charlotte Hornets will be good this season and Scottie Scheffler winning the Open Championship.

This past weekend, Scottie Scheffler soared to the top of golf history with an emphatic victory at the 153rd Open Championship at Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland.

Scheffler, the world No. 1, cruised through the weekend. This marked his 4th major win, having already secured the Masters (2022, 2024) and 2025 PGA Championship. Plus, he’s now only one major—the U.S. Open—away from completing a career Grand Slam.

Despite comparisons to golfing legends Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus, Scheffler brushed them off as “a bit silly,” emphasizing faith, family, and perspective over accolades. Could Scottie Scheffler get to Tiger Woods’ level?

  • WNBA All Star Weekend: Do Players Deserve To Be Paid More?
    2025/07/21

Reese, Pam and Alex discuss the WNBA All Star Weekend and the players wanting to be paid more.

This past weekend in the WNBA was all about All-Star festivities, major performances, and strong messages both on and off the court. Off the court, players used the high-profile stage to bring attention to labor issues, wearing shirts reading “Pay Us What You Owe Us” and leading fans in chants of “Pay them!”—a clear signal to the league as the current collective bargaining agreement nears expiration in October. Do WNBA players deserve more?

On the court, the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game took place in Indianapolis, where Team Collier defeated Team Clark 151–131. Napheesa Collier earned MVP honors and Skylar Diggins made history with the first-ever triple-double in an All-Star Game. In the All-Star skills competitions, Natasha Cloud of the New York Liberty won the Skills Challenge and Sabrina Ionescu took her second 3-Point Contest title, later announcing she would split her prize with rookie Sonia Citron in a show of mentorship and solidarity. Meanwhile, GloRilla headlined the halftime show, highlighting the deep ties between hip-hop and women’s basketball. Caitlin Clark was sidelined with a groin injury but stayed engaged during events, supporting her teammates throughout the weekend.

  • Damian Lillard Returns To Portland + Bronny James Performing In Summer League
    2025/07/18

Reese, Kmac, Pam and Alex discuss Damian Lillard returning to Portland, Bronny James in the summer league and more.

Yesterday, TJ Watt agreed to a three-year, $123M extension — $41M per year, making him the highest-paid non–quarterback in NFL history. Is Watt the best defensive player in the NFL? How far will Pittsburgh go this year? Is Micah Parsons the next guy to be paid? Would you pay Micah Parsons?

Damian Lillard agreed to a 3-year, $42M contract to return to the Portland Trail Blazers, his original team from 2012–23. The deal includes a player option for the 2027–28 season and a full no-trade clause, allowing Lillard autonomy over his future. Lillard is rehabbing a torn Achilles tendon, sustained during Game 4 of the Bucks’ first-round playoff series against Indiana (April 27, 2025). He is expected to sit out the entire 2025–26 season while recovering. His total earnings for the upcoming season will be around $70M, with approximately $141M over 2 years.

NBA Summer League has been in action for weeks now. Bronny James has been playing well and finding his footing. In Bronny's last 3 games: 18 PTS, 5 AST, 2 REB 17 PTS, 5 AST, 5 REB 14 PTS, 3 AST, 1 REB. But apparently, Reese is not satisfied or impressed. Has Bronny been impressive? Why is Reese hating?
