  • I'm bringing 20 people to Everest Base Camp in Nepal (October 2026)
    2025/05/20

Kilimanjaro was top of my bucket list..
Everest Base Camp in Nepal is right there beside it..

Hiking to Everest Base Camp October 2026

I’m linking up with Earths Edge for a 16 day trip to hike Everest Base Camp in October of next year (2026)..

There’ll be a training day with me in person early next year; and a two day training event two months before we fly to Nepal.

I’m also going to be working directly with everybody on a fitness program and a private WhatsApp group a few months beforehand to make sure everyone is in great shape for the trip.

We’re only taking 20 people and it’s fully inclusive so all the accommodation, meals and training weekends are included.

You can book flights separately or with Earth's Edge (they're a big chunk of the payment so go with whatever is best for you)..

I’ve linked more details in the description; so if you’re up for a challenge or a life changing trip, then check out the page on Earths Edge.

Once your deposit is paid, let me know so I can follow you on Instagram to connect over the next few months. I look forward to the year ahead .

  • #537: Mobility Coach Conor O Shea on Five Essential Movements for Pain-Free Living, Plantar Fasciitis and The Myths and Realities of Flexibility Training!
    2025/05/19

Conor O Shea is a mobility coach.

He is also the host of the Strong For Life podcast and with over 230k followers on Instagram, he helps people over 30 feel a decade younger whilst moving pain free.

He spent most of his 20s struggling with chronic pain that affected him so badly at times I considered leaving the fitness industry because he was worried, I couldn’t do his job anymore.

He left Ireland in 2013 and sought out the best coaches in the world. He learned from the yogis in Mysore and the best callisthenics, mobility and flexibility coaches who were super fit in their 50s and 60s.

He began to understand that his body was riddled with injuries and how to rebuild himself from the ground up.

Here are some of the things we talked about in today’s show:

    · Five essential movements include squats, ground sitting, and toe touching.

    · Chronic pain can be addressed through consistent mobility practices.

    · Ground sitting is a simple yet effective daily practice.

    · Environmental design can encourage more movement throughout the day.

    · Flexibility training should be strength-focused to avoid injuries.

    · Common complaints include low back, knee, and shoulder issues.

    · Strengthening the back and stretching the front can alleviate many problems.

    · Mobility practices should be integrated into daily routines.

    · Injury management requires working around pain to maintain strength. Mobility and flexibility are crucial for long-term health.

    · Injury management should prioritise alternatives to surgery.

    · The psychology of injury plays a significant role in recovery.

    · Rebuilding strength after injury is essential for recovery.

    · Pain can be a signal of adaptation, not always harm.

    · Foot health is vital, especially for runners and active individuals.

    · Supportive footwear and foot exercises can help with plantar fasciitis

  • The Cost of Discipline: Burnout, Body Image & the Hustle Myth (Brian Keane & Anthony Walsh)
    2025/05/16
This was one of my favourite podcasts that I've appeared on. It was with my friend Anthony Walsh from his studio in Dublin. We go long here (nearly two hours) and touch on so many different topics. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed recording it. You can follow Anthony's Roadmap Cycling show here: https://open.spotify.com/show/2oCs3N4ahypwzzUrFqgUmC Prefer to watch your podcasts? The full video is on my YouTube channel Brian Keane Fitness ____________________________________________ What happens when the identity that once drove you starts holding you back? In this honest and wide-ranging conversation, Anthony reconnects with Brian Keane—author, speaker, and ultra-endurance coach—to explore the line between discipline and dysfunction. They dive into self-doubt, social pressure, and the reality of rebuilding when your goals shift. Brian shares what a decade in fitness has taught him, how he's reframed his training around purpose, and why foundational movement always wins out over trends. From Ozempic to testosterone, strength periodization to mindset shifts, nothing’s off the table. If you’re feeling stuck, questioning your routine, or just curious about what sustainable growth really looks like—this episode is for you.

  • My new group program and €50 off for founding members 🤩
    2025/05/09

It has been a long six months.. but finally my new program is ready..

My team and I have been building out the NEW Keane Edge Program into an third party app over the past few months and I wanted to send a quick email to let you know that there is €50 discount off the program starting Monday week.

Similar to my old BKF Online Program, there will be group coaching with me (weekly Q+A's so I can tailor things to you etc)..

    BUT...

    We completely revamped it.

    New training programs..
New recipes that plug directly into your favourite food app..
An app that syncs with your favourite third party apps (my fitness pal, Apple Watch etc)..

It's taken a while to do..

But I think you'll agree that it's been worth it..

If you enter code "MAYOFFER" at the checkout, you'll get it for €146.

I'm capping it at 50 people as well; so that code will expire once the group is full.

If you have any questions, just let me know and I look forward to working together if you decide it's for you.
