(Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark and Adam McManus Muslims kill Syrian pastor and 20 members of family Syrian Muslims took the life of a pastor and 20 members of his family over the weekend. Khalid Mezher was the pastor of the Good Shepherd Evangelical Church in southern Syria. He and his family converted to Christianity years ago out of a religious group in the area known as the Druze. Violence between Druze militias and fighters from the Bedouin tribes, which are mostly Muslim, has taken the lives of hundreds of people over the last week. Evangelical leader Johnnie Moore wrote on X, “Pastor Khalid died for a faith that many Christians hardly live. They are now martyrs who gave their entire lives, in difficult circumstances, to share the love of Jesus with their neighbors and beloved Syria.” In Matthew 16:25, Jesus said, “For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.” Puerto Rico protects kids from transsexual drugs and surgeries Puerto Rico is protecting children from transsexual drugs and surgeries. Last Wednesday, Republican Governor Jenniffer González Colón signed the Law for the Protection of the Health and Well-being of Minors in Puerto Rico. Harming children with such transsexual procedures is punishable by 15 years in prison. Puerto Rico joins nearly 30 states in America with similar bans. Japan to invest $550 billion into America President Donald Trump secured a great deal with Japan, reports The Epoch Times. On Truth Social, President Trump announced, “We just completed a massive deal with Japan, perhaps the largest deal ever made. Japan will invest, at my direction, $550 billion into the United States, which will receive 90% of the profits. “This deal will create hundreds of thousands of jobs. There has never been anything like it. Perhaps most importantly, Japan will open their country to trade including cars and trucks, rice and certain other agricultural products. … Japan will pay reciprocal tariffs to the United States of 15%.” CBS/Skydance to pay Trump Foundation $36 million President Trump recently reached a $16 million settlement with Paramount, the parent of CBS News, over what he claimed was misleading editing of a pre-election interview with the Democratic candidate for president, Kamala Harris, reports The Guardian. While CBS initially called the lawsuit “completely without merit”, Paramount is in the midst of an $8 billion sale to the Hollywood studio Skydance Media, which requires the approval of federal regulators. President Trump has claimed that the future owner of CBS will provide him with $20 million worth of advertising and programming – days after the network canceled The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. On Truth Social, Trump wrote, “We have just achieved a BIG AND IMPORTANT WIN in our historic lawsuit against 60 Minutes, CBS, and Paramount. … CBS and its corporate owners knew that they defrauded the American people, and were desperate to settle. Paramount/CBS/60 Minutes have today paid $16 Million in settlement, and we also anticipate receiving $20 million more from the new owners, in advertising, PSAs, or similar programming, for a total of over $36 million dollars.” He added, “This is another in a long line of VICTORIES over the Fake News Media, who we are holding to account for their widespread fraud and deceit. The Wall Street Journal, The Failing New York Times, The Washington Post, MSDNC, CNN, and all other Mainstream Media Liars, are ON NOTICE that the days of them being allowed to deceive the American people are OVER.” Federal workforce shrunk by 22,000 people A report by the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond found the U.S. federal workforce has shrunk by over 22,000 people from January to May of this year. Chuck Ezell, the Acting Director of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, said, “The American people deserve a government that is lean, efficient, and focused on core priorities. This data marks the first measurable step toward President Trumpʼs vision of a disciplined, accountable federal workforce and itʼs only the beginning.” Trump has also extended his hiring freeze on federal workers through October. Foreign buyers purchased $56 billion worth of U.S. homes The National Association of Realtors reports that foreign buyers purchased $56 billion worth of U.S. homes from April 2024 through March 2025. The number of home purchases by foreign buyers rose to over 78,000 this year. That’s up from last year’s report, but still down from 284,000 purchases in 2017. The top destination states for foreign buyers include Florida, California, Texas, and New York. The most popular origin countries of international buyers are China, Canada, Mexico, India, and the United Kingdom. ...

(Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson U.S. Christian statesmen call attention to persecution of Christians U.S. Republican Congressman Riley Moore of West Virginia and Republican Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri introduced a congressional resolution (H. Res. 594) condemning the widespread and ongoing persecution of Christians in Muslim-majority countries. On April 30th, Congressman Moore took a stand on the floor of the U.S. House. MOORE: “Today, I rise to address a grave and urgent crisis: the rampant persecution of Christians in Africa and the Middle East. Across these regions, our brothers and sisters in faith experience violence, displacement, and death for their belief in our Lord, Jesus Christ. No person or community should ever face such brutal conditions for acknowledging the name of Jesus. “In Nigeria, the situation is dire! More Christians face persecution there than any other nation combined. Since the outbreak of the Boko Haram’s insurgency in 2009, more than 18,000 churches and 2,200 Christian schools have been destroyed in northern Nigeria alone. “More than 50,000 Christians have been killed, and more than 5 million have been displaced since 2009, making it the most dangerous country in the world for Christians.” The July 17th resolution highlights the horrific slaughter of Christians in Nigeria, pastors arrested in Algeria, the torture of Christians in Yemen, the imprisonment of Christians in Iran, and other persecution taking place in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Syria, and Saudi Arabia. The statement urged U.S. President Donald Trump to “prioritize the protection of persecuted Christians in U.S. foreign policy, including in the President’s diplomatic engagement with Muslim-majority countries and his efforts to stabilize the Middle East.” It further urged him to “use all diplomatic tools available, including within trade and national security discussions and negotiations, to advance the protection of persecuted Christians worldwide and within Muslim-majority countries.” Colorado Christian bookstore files lawsuit against state over pronouns A Colorado Christian bookstore is suing the state for imposing recent changes to the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act on businesses. Born Again Used Books in Colorado Springs has filed the suit through Alliance Defending Freedom, pointing out the infringement of the business’ freedom of speech under the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. The suit states that under Colorado’s laws, “It is now illegal for public accommodations, like independent bookstores, to refer to transgender-identifying individuals with biologically accurate language in their publications and customer interactions.” And "Born Again Used Books must instead profess an ideological view it opposes, contradict the message espoused in the very books it sells, and avoid explaining its Christian beliefs about human sexuality in store and online. In effect, the law requires this Christian bookstore to abandon its core religious beliefs." London Pentecostal church now allowed to share Christ in streets A London Pentecostal church has achieved a reversal of a ban on evangelistic outreach on the streets, reports The U.K. Standard. The local government had passed an Anti-Social Behavior, Crime and Policing Act forbidding the use of amplification equipment, the distribution of religious literature, and the display of Bible verses at the town center. The Kingsborough Centre Church filed for judicial review, and obtained a reversal. The City also paid the church’s legal costs incurred during the ordeal. Isaiah 43:16-17 says, “Thus says the Lord, Who makes a way in the sea, a path in the mighty waters, Who brings forth chariot and horse, army and warrior; they lie down, they cannot rise, they are extinguished, quenched like a wick.” Brazilian Supreme Court restricts former president Jair Bolsonaro Brazil’s previous conservative president, Jair Bolsonaro, has come under severe restrictions by the Brazilian Supreme Court, reports Folha News. This comes days after U.S. President Donald Trump announced a 50% tariff on Brazilian goods. Bolsonaro was forced to wear an electronic ankle bracelet. He cannot access social media accounts, and is prohibited from contacting his son who lives in the United States. The former Brazilian president has denied any responsibility for Trump’s decision to impose tariffs, but also recently publicly thanked God for the election of Trump. Department stores are going bye-bye Department stores are a thing of the past. Thirty years ago, these stores captured 9% of all retail sales. Today, they account for only a half percent. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Nigerian Muslims slaughtered 27 Christians including 3-year-old girl At 3:00 a.m. on July 15th, the Christian village of Bindi near Jos in the Plateau State in Nigeria, was plunged into a nightmare. Twenty-seven Christians were slaughtered, including a 3-year-old girl and nine members of Pastor Davou Musa’s family, burned alive in their home, reports TruthNigeria.com. These attacks are not isolated incidents. They are part of a coordinated, radical Islamic campaign carried out by Fulani terrorists, with a mission to eradicate Christians from Nigeria and establish a Muslim caliphate. The perpetrators shouted “Allahu Akbar” as they hacked, shot, and burned families alive. One pastor shed light on what that Arabic phrase means. PASTOR: “Allah Akbar. Some will translate that as ‘God is great.’ ‘ Perhaps a better translation of that Arabic phrase is, ‘Our God is greater.’ This is a declaration that the demon and demons working through these people consider themselves to be greater than Jesus Christ, the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob. “Ephesians 6:[12] says that our war is not just ‘against flesh and blood, but powers, principalities and spirits.’ Practically, what this means is, when you see conflict in the seen realm, there is far greater conflict in the unseen realm. And when you hear, ‘Our God is greater,’ that is a declaration of spiritual warfare from a demon against Jesus Christ, the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob.” And where was the military? Just two miles away, but they arrived two hours late, a disturbing pattern of complicity that Christians have endured over and over again. Huckabee rebukes attackers of Christian church in Palestinian town U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee condemned recent attacks on a Christian village and its historic church in the West Bank, calling them “a crime against humanity and God,” reports The Christian Post. His statement came after visiting the site of the arson and ongoing harassment. Huckabee travelled Saturday to Taybeh, a Christian Palestinian town that residents say has endured a wave of assaults by Israeli settlers in recent weeks, according to The Times of Israel. The attacks include a fire set near the ruins of the Church of St. George, which church leaders described as among the most severe incidents to date. Huckabee, a longtime Evangelical supporter of Israel, said during his visit that the desecration of religious sites represented “an act of terror” and that such actions should carry “harsh consequences.” Trump diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency after leg swelling Last Thursday, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt gave the press an update on President Donald Trump's health. She told reporters that he has experienced mild swelling in his lower legs, according to a memo from Dr. Sean Barbarella, the physician to the president. LEAVITT: “The president underwent a comprehensive examination, including diagnostic vascular studies. Bilateral lower extremity veinous doppler ultrasounds were performed and revealed chronic venous insufficiency, a benign, common condition, particularly in individuals over the age of 70.” Leavitt also talked about photos showing some minor bruising on the back of the President's hand. She explained the bruising is a minor soft tissue irritation from frequent handshaking and the use of aspirin, reports CBN News. Intercessors for America featured this prayer. Amen.” Why Republicans defunded NPR and PBS The U.S. Congress voted to defund the Public Broadcasting Corporation by $1.1 billion, reports The Epoch Times. Republican Congressman Brandon Gill of Texas spoke from the floor of the House.
