Kṛṣṇa, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, also known as the KRSNA Book, is a summary and commentary on the Tenth Canto of the Śrīmad Bhāgavatam by A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada,[1] founder-acharya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). It was published in 1970 by the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust. The publication was financed through a contribution of $19,000 from Beatle, George Harrison, who also wrote the book's foreword. The book included 54 pages of colour illustrations, with a painting on the front cover that depicted Krishna with his consort Radha.

A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada was a visionary spiritual teacher and the founder of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). Born as Abhay Charan De on September 1, 1896, in Calcutta, India, he dedicated his life to spreading the teachings of Krishna consciousness worldwide. In 1922, he met Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakur, who urged him to share Vedic knowledge in English. This encounter shaped his mission, leading him to take sannyasa (renounced order) in 1959 and begin translating and commenting on sacred texts like the Bhagavad Gita and Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam.
