This story tells the tale of a little frog who becomes separated from his family. And when captured by a girl named Diana, he learns that sometimes frogs have to grow up quickly. Elvis' goal is to find the strength to persevere and the determination to escape. As Diana grows more attached to Elvis, he wishes only for freedom from where he has been placed. But, Diana too has her own problems. When she returns to school, after the summer holidays, she is heard not telling the truth by her nasty neighbor, Annabelle. Diana is then challenged to put Elvis into a frog race.

Elvis has his brother, Bart, to accompany him on this journey. Their goal now is to find Mum and Dad. Elvis believes that Bart knows which way to go, so this shouldn't be too difficult. Well, only time will tell. They encounter obstacles on their journey and have to work together to keep moving forwards. But, will Elvis be deterred from continuing, or will he have the determination to finally be reunited with his mum and dad?
