    2023/01/10

    - Why is it important to play the “What if….” scenario in our minds to build gratitude

    - The difference between downward and upward counterfactual thinking

    - How to build happiness and lower regret through this practice

You’ll hear in 3 simple steps my own personal example of gaining Falco (my yorkie boy) and work through prompts bringing deep reflections on “what if he wasn’t in my life”

  • Season 2: Episode 7: MENTAL SKILLS TRAINING TIP -- Extract Your Strength
    2022/12/27

In this episode, I explain 5 straightforward steps on how to identify your strengths during a problem. Why is it important?

The value of assessing a positive approach to a problem means we can lower self-criticism and view problems from a different lens. A situation has TWO perspectives, a problem has TWO perspectives and what we do in those issues has TWO options. Yet, most of the time we focus on what we’re doing wrong compared to what we’ve done right. Let’s work to extract the strength from problems and highlight the strength perspective.

  • Season 2: Episode 6: HOLIDAY SPECIAL: You Don't Have To Be Happy Right Now
    2022/12/20

In this episode, I share that "happiness" around the holidays doesn't have to happen all the time. Sometimes we're told we should appreciate more, be grateful more, and be happy more because the holiday season is here. What if you're not right now? Should your feelings be discounted? Absolutely NOT! Experience how you feel and give yourself grace. Happiness ebbs and flows in our day and sometimes we might have more downs than highs. Hear how I'm feeling right now during the holidays and why it's happening. I'm saying goodbye to comfort and safety and saying hello to uncertainty.
